Silver Medalist, 2004, Olympic diving events
Leon Taylor
A swimmer and gymnast from the age of two, Leon took up competitive diving when he was eight. By the age of 11 he was a national champion.

During a career spanning  over 20 years Leon won medals at all the major championships including an Olympic silver in 2004 in the Mens Synchronized 10m event with Peter Waterfield. This was British diving's first Olympic medal for 44 years.  In 1998 Leon also invented the worlds most difficult dive, a back 2.5 somersaults with 2.5 twists in the piked position!

After retiring from diving in 2008, Leon now mentors Tom Daley and other young diving hopefuls heading for 2012, is in the process of launching his own Yoga studio and is one of BT's 2012 ambassadors. Alongside this he is a BBC commentator, motivational speaker and adrenaline junkie in his spare time!
